Winner of America’s Next Top Model, 21-year-old Jaslene Gonzalez has a contract with Elite Models, as well as is the face of CoverGirl and the spokes model for the Lot 29 clothing line.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jaslene harbored aspirations of modeling even as a pre-teen. When America’s Next Top Model first hit television, Jaslene saw the show as an outlet for her aspirations. She auditioned for the second time the show’s eighth cycle, when her resolve caught the attention of producer Tyra Banks before ultimately winning the competition.

The first Latina to win America’s Next Top Model, Jaslene has quickly become an outstanding figure in the world of fashion and entertainment. Jaslene has appeared on the covers and pages of Seventeen, Latina, Hombre, Urban Latino, Colours, Trace, Blue and VIBE Vixen. She was recently featured in New York’s famed “Puerto Rican Day Parade” and acted as a correspondent for “MTV Tr3s” at “The 2007 ALMA Awards.”

When she is not in front of the camera, Jaslene enjoys working with her charity “Love is NOT Abuse” which focuses on empowering young women against domestic violence, which Jaslene overcame.
